Miguel Hernandez

Originally from San Cristóbal - Venezuela, Adorer of Jesus Christ and currently resides in Miami - Florida; Miguel has been a member of international artist bands and an active member of important projects, including Daniella Mass, Nestor Torres (Multi Latin and American Grammy winner), Elias Tona Jazz Trio (Al Di Meola Bassist), Miami Symphony Orchestra , Henry Linarez, Sujeid Mijares, Rafael “El Pollo” Brito, Aldemaro Romero, Yordano, Robert Quintero, Prisca Dávila, Emilio Lovera, Puerta de Salvacion Church (Miami), Tamara (Spanish singer), Otmaro Ruíz, Luz Marina & Menage, Guillermo Davila, HMJ Project, Impromptu Trio and Miguel Hernández Project, among others.

 

He is currently an exclusive Artist of  Yamaha Drums, Sabian, Vic Firth, Remo, Gon Bops, Shure, Hishaker, Cympad, Kickport, Gator Cases, Zoom Lab, Steinberg, Willy Mayo Instruments, Alpha Custom Drums, Zukran Music, AirTurn, RimRiser, Big Fat Snare Drum, Rtom , i3dnut, Caterpillar, Reymart Custom Drums, KWD and Advanced Ears.

 

For 2013 his 1st production entitled: “Afro-Venezuelan Jazz Standards” is launched on the market.

 

He is the first Venezuelan drummer to edit a didactic book in 2007, entitled  “AFRO-VENEZUELAN RHYTHMS FOR BATTERY” and for December 2017, he launches his 2nd book entitled “AFRO-VENEZUELAN RHYTHMS FOR CONTEMPORARY INSTRUMENTS:  BATTERY, together with the excellent pianist and producer Hildemaro Álvarez, giving Master Class inside and outside Venezuela where countries such as Spain, England, Austria, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Czech Republic, USA, Canada, Brazil, Trinidad and Tobago, Mexico stand out. , Puerto Rico, Honduras, Costa Rica, Ecuador and Argentina.
